Re:Frame is a community of storytellers who came together in 2007 with a clear vision: that being an event filmmaker is pretty freak'n cool, and it's about damn time we have a movement that reflects that. Through various forms of community, Re:Frame will continually find, develop, and promote an exclusive list of filmmakers who will be messengers of event film making to a world that longs to re:live the emotion, passion, and joy of life.

10 Things you Didn't Know About Chris Jones

jones.jpg

1. Taught inner city middle school immediately after college in his first attempt to save the world .  He retired after that one year with the aforementioned goal tabled until a later date.

2. Eats a vegetarian diet except when he's the recipient of another's hospitality, or when he's starving and there's nothing else around.

3. Is known as Mr. Back Stage Pass for his ability to coincidentally run into celebrities in random places.

4. Is an eagle scout and can still tie a taut-line hitch knot.

5. Graduated from a seminary with a master's in theology with a focus on inventing a new literary style, combining travel literature with spiritual journey.  When folks ask him why he's not using his seminary degree (occupationally) today, he responds that he's "helping people to stay married through creating superb wedding films."

6. Has been an extra in 5 movies, and can be seen in scenes with Billy Bob Thorton, Rosario Dawson, and Ryan Phillippe.

7. Played basketball in high school for a team that finished ranked #8 in the state.  Maybe 'played' isn't the best descriptive verb - but at least he made the team.

8. Is not allowed to pick restaurants to gather with his friends as that particular restaurant will always be closed.

9. Edited Ted Nugent's hunting show for a season, and had the Nuge over to his one bedroom apartment for editing meetings many many times.  Needless to say, the Nuge always came over heavily armed (9mm with 2 extra clips on his hip).

10. Has been wearing his retainers with few exceptions since he had his braces removed...in 1988!!!
